committee responsible for overseeing all research projects involving human participants.

The IRB's primary goal is to protect the rights and welfare of research participants.

No research study involving the collection of data through interaction or intervention with

living individuals may begin at 91大神 without prior IRB approval.

Video Tutorials for Survey Applications

The following changes have been made to the IRB Initial Submission application. Please read all instructions when completing new protocol submissions as some instructions may have changed.

PDF requirement for attachments - All attached documents must now be submitted as PDF files, since Cayuse can only apply IRB stamps to PDF documents.

Use of stamped documents - Investigators must use only the IRB-stamped versions of consent forms and recruitment materials once approved.

Clarified instructions throughout the application - Added more detailed descriptions and instructions across sections, including links to templates and required elements, to reduce common submission errors.

Data storage section restructured - Replaced the open-ended data storage question with checkboxes for specific storage types (on-campus storage, 91大神-issued device, 91大神-approved cloud service, or other), each with corresponding guidance on required details (what is stored, how it's secured, retention duration).
