Fitness & Wellness Program Policies
All Campus Recreation Policies must be followed and Group Fitness Instructors have the final say. Violating these policies may lead to a temporary suspension from registration of the Group Fitness classes.
- Registration is recommended for all classes
- Registration closes 5 minutes before class start time for in-person and 10 minutes before class start for virtual
- Participants are expected to cancel any classes they register for but no longer wish to attend
- We encourage you to bring a water bottle to every class
- Make sure any drink is in a covered, sealable container to prevent spills
- Drinking fountains are available outside each studio
- Equipment is provided for all classes
- Participants are welcome to bring their own mat
- Check-in for classes will begin at least 5 minutes before classes begin and will end 3 minutes after the class start time* for participant safety
- Registrants of full classes not checked-in by the start of class time risk losing their spot to someone waiting
- *Cycle classes close at the class start time
- Personal items should be placed along the back wall of the space or in the locker rooms
- Campus Rec is not responsible for lost or stolen items
- Locks for day lockers are available for free at the Equipment Desk across from the stairs
- Cell phones should be left with belongings unless needed for an emergency
- For safety reasons, personal listening devices such as headphones, earphone, and earbuds should not be worn during classes
- All classes are subject to cancellation and/or change based on the availability of instructors, facilities, and participation
- All efforts will be made to update the registration pages and notify participants as staff are able
- For the safety and privacy of all, participants are discouraged from taking pictures and/or videos within the class spaces
- We strive to create a welcoming environment in classes and do not tolerate discrimination or judgment of others
Train Program Policies
- Membership Requirements
- You must have a current Campus Rec Membership (and maintain the membership) to purchase and use sessions

- Refunds, Credits, or Transfers
- All purchases are non-refundable (exception may be made for extreme cases)
- Sessions will not be refunded or credited due graduation, separation from the University, or an expired membership
- Sessions cannot be transferred to another individual
- We do not guarantee results, as we are here to provide the support and it is up to the individual to apply these
Personal & Group Training Training
- All training packages expire 1 year from purchase
- A Campus Rec membership is required to use sessions
- Session cancellation
- We ask for at least a 24-hour notice
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice are subject to being redeemed without the session occurring
- If you have the contact information for your trainer, it is best to contact them directly

- more than 24 business hours prior to the sessions, email [email protected] or call 615-904-8473 (be sure to leave a voicemail if no one answers)
- less than 24 business hours prior to the sessions call the Campus Recreation Membership Office at 615-898-2104 so they can let the trainer know
- Group Training session cancellation
- If one group member is not at the session, they will forfeit that session
- We strongly recommend that group members communicate in advance and decide if they would rather reschedule if a group member knows they will not be there
- We ask for at least a 24-hour notice
MyFit
- All MyFit packages expire 6 months from the date purchased
- A Campus Rec membership is required to purchase the program, attend the sessions, and maintain connection with your trainer
