In addition to meeting the Jennings A. Jones College of Business requirements, an Information Systems degree consists of 30 hours of information systems courses. Majors must earn an overall minimum GPA of 2.00 in their required information systems courses. The program below includes a Business Administration minor. An alternate business minor may be chosen, but it may require total hours for graduation to exceed 120.

The BBA in Information Systems program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET,聽, under the commission鈥檚 General Criteria and Program Criteria for Information Systems.
Program Educational Objectives
We expect our program graduates to meet the following expectations within three to five years into their professional careers:

- Student Outcome 1: Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
- Student Outcome 2: Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program鈥檚 discipline.
- Student Outcome 3: Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
- Student Outcome 4: Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.
- Student Outcome 5: Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program鈥檚 discipline.
- Student Outcome 6: Support the delivery, use, and management of information systems within an information systems environment.
