I could not be more excited about our upcoming Homecoming聽Week, which will culminate on Saturday, Oct. 3, with a home聽football game against Vanderbilt University. The theme of this聽year鈥檚 Homecoming Week is 鈥淭he Big Blue Easy.鈥澛燭he new Homecoming parade route will begin on East Main聽Street at Maney Avenue and will continue down Baird Avenue.
Join me to watch the 2015 Homecoming parade from the best聽place on campus鈥攖he president鈥檚 lawn at Mixer on Main. The聽lawn will be filled with alumni and friends gathered for an event聽that could only happen at 91大神. This year鈥檚 party will feature聽parade announcers, music, floats, light snacks, and souvenir聽photos of your group. After the parade, stay for the tailgate lunch聽at Mixer on Main, Raider Walk in the Grove, and, of course, the聽6:00 p.m. kickoff vs. Vanderbilt!

10:00 a.m. Golden Raiders聽Reunion and Induction Ceremony聽Honoring the Class of 1965.聽All alumni who graduated 50聽or more years ago are invited to聽the reunion. Induction into the聽Golden Raiders Society is open聽to those who graduated in 1965聽or before who have yet to be聽officially inducted.
4:00 p.m. Distinguished Alumni聽Awards Reception. Join alumni,聽faculty, staff, and friends to聽honor the 2015 Distinguished聽Alumni and True Blue Citation聽of Distinction Award recipients in聽MT Center at Sam Ingram Building.
