These positions offer valuable professional experience while helping fund your advanced degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Benefits &amp; Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Support<\/strong>: Positions provide a monthly stipend and a 100% tuition waiver (covering tuition, debt maintenance, and technology access fees).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Out-of-State Relief:<\/strong> Out-of-state residents receive a full waiver for out-of-state fees, granting them in-state status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campus Perks<\/strong>: As an academic colleague, you are eligible to upgrade to a faculty\/staff parking pass for a nominal fee at the Parking Services office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Eligibility &amp; Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before applying or maintaining your position, you must meet both the College of Graduate Studies requirements and any specific criteria set by your individual department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must be fully admitted into your desired graduate program (conditional admission is not accepted).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher (either undergraduate cumulative or your current graduate GPA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note: You can complete a GA application at any time. Incoming students are highly encouraged to apply before receiving their official 91大神 acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>To Maintain Your Assistantship:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must enroll in at least six (6) graduate credit hours each fall and spring semester, as well as Summer 3 credit hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master&#8217;s students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doctoral students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>The Application Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Crucial Rule: Always begin your search by contacting your individual academic department\/program director, not the College of Graduate Studies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the College of Graduate Studies is the final approving authority, each department is independently responsible for interviewing, selecting, and processing paperwork for their positions.
