What\u2019s changing, who\u2019s affected, and how to prepare for the move to Oracle Cloud<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of True Blue Fusion, 91΄σΙρ is modernizing how payroll is processed by moving to Oracle Cloud. Beginning in January 2027, the way employees record their time and receive their pay will change. This page explains what\u2019s changing, who is affected, and what you can do to prepare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Changing? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beginning January 2027, Payroll will be processed in Oracle Cloud, replacing Banner. Classified staff, hourly employees, graduate assistants, and student workers will move from a monthly to a biweekly pay schedule. Salaried employees will continue to be paid monthly. Your pay rate is not changing. Your annual salary or hourly rate stays the same. Only the timing and frequency of pay change for affected employees. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding Biweekly Pay <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Biweekly employees are paid every two weeks. Each pay period covers a 14-day cycle that runs Sunday through Saturday. Because pay is distributed across 26 pay periods instead of 12, individual paychecks will generally be smaller than a monthly paycheck. However, overall pay rates will not change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each pay period, employees will:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Enter time worked in Oracle Cloud. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Submit timecards by the required deadline (bi-weekly). <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. If the timecard is above the thresholds noted below, the timecard will be routed to supervisors for approval. All timecards at or below the thresholds will be auto approved and sent to payroll:   \n
      \n
    • above 75 hours for Staff <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • above 29 hours for Students  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Receive payment on the scheduled pay date. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Additional pay schedules and the full 2027 payroll calendar will be published before go-live.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Payroll Transition Timeline <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The first Oracle biweekly pay period begins December 20, 2026, and ends January 2, 2027. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
