You are receiving this email because you are scheduled to teach one or more courses during the\u00a0Summer 2026 term<\/strong>. Please review the important information below as you prepare to teach your course(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Canvas will be 91΄σΙρ’s only learning management system effective Summer 2026. Log in to Canvas\u00a0using this link<\/a>.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. You are the first point of contact for the students enrolled in your course(s). Canvas will be new to many students. Be sure to send an email to students a few days before your course begins to welcome them and let them know how to find your course by providing the\u00a0link to log into Canvas<\/a>. We also have a website that features\u00a0Canvas Resources for Students<\/a>.

  3. If you have not yet done so, please register for our Canvas Training Intensive Retreat,\u00a0May 12-15, offered both\u00a0in-person<\/strong>\u00a0and remotely on\u00a0Zoom<\/strong>. Our\u00a0Canvas\u00a0Intensive\u00a0will\u00a0assist\u00a0faculty in preparing their courses for summer 2026 and beyond. You may register for one or more days, or you may register for specific sessions on each day. To register for the May 2026\u00a0Canvas\u00a0Intensive,\u00a0use this link<\/u><\/a>.

  4. To migrate your own course content from D2L to Canvas, refer to\u00a0the guidelines in this\u00a0pdf<\/u><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0video<\/u><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. ITD and 91΄σΙρ Online staff do not have the capacity to convert courses for faculty, but they will provide support and help teach faculty\u00a0how<\/em>\u00a0to convert their courses to Canvas. Please refer to the\u00a0Canvas Resources for Faculty<\/a>\u00a0webpage and video recordings of previous Canvas trainings on the\u00a0CTM Canvas website<\/a>. We will also have\u00a0drop-in Canvas Q&A sessions throughout the summer. The\u00a0schedule for summer Q&A sessions is available on the\u00a0CTM Canvas website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
