We are exploring this platform as a potential complement to or replacement of 91大神 Online\u2019s current proctoring solution (ProctorU).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Respondus Pilot Fall 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">91大神 Online and the Information Technology Division (ITD) are seeking faculty volunteers to participate in a pilot of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/\">Respondus&nbsp;LockDown Browser and&nbsp;Respondus&nbsp;Monitor<\/a>&nbsp;for fall 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we continue to evaluate tools that support academic integrity while providing a positive student experience, this pilot will help us assess whether&nbsp;Respondus&nbsp;could serve as a complement to or potential replacement for our current proctoring solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are particularly interested in hearing from faculty who currently use online proctoring tools or who teach courses where remote testing is an important component of instruction. Participants may choose to evaluate LockDown Browser, Monitor, or both. Pilot testing will run from&nbsp;<strong>August 24 \u2013 October 9, encompassing the start of the Fall 2026 semester and A1 accelerated term, not including A2 part of term.<\/strong>&nbsp;Access to the tool will continue until October 31 when a decision will be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faculty interested in participating are asked to complete the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mtsu.iad1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_b9P20DMTaQzO2ai\">Course Information Form<\/a>&nbsp;to identify the course(s) they plan to use during the pilot. Up to ten courses may be submitted on a single form.&nbsp;<strong>The deadline to enroll in the&nbsp;Respondus&nbsp;pilot is&nbsp;<u>Wednesday, August 19<\/u>.<\/strong> Participants will be asked to complete a short feedback survey at the conclusion of the pilot to help inform future decisions regarding online proctoring services at 91大神. Your feedback and experience are essential to evaluate technologies that support academic integrity and student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot includes the use of both <a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/lockdownbrowser\/\">Respondus Lockdown Browser<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/monitor\/\">Monitor<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Respondus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respondus&nbsp;LockDown Browser is a customized browser that helps secure online assessments by preventing students from opening additional tabs, accessing other websites, printing, copying content, or using unauthorized applications during an exam.&nbsp;Respondus&nbsp;Monitor adds webcam and microphone recording capabilities, allowing instructors to review testing sessions and identify potential testing irregularities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/lockdownbrowser\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/lockdownbrowser\/\">Respondus LockDown Browser (RLB)<\/a> is a customized web browser designed to restrict students from opening new tabs, visiting other websites, copying text, printing, and\/or accessing other applications on their devices as they take exams through the learning management system (Canvas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/monitor\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/web.respondus.com\/he\/monitor\/\">Respondus Monitor<\/a> is an additional feature that uses the student\u2019s webcam and microphone to record them and their testing environment as exams are completed through the learning management system (Canvas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training &amp;
