Institutional Commitment to Cultivating Sustainable Partnerships

As part of our 2035 Strategic Plan, the university reaffirms its commitment to cultivating sustainable partnerships that enrich our academic mission, support community engagement, and foster innovation. We recognize that meaningful collaboration– across disciplines, sectors, and the community, state, and region– is essential to advancing shared goals and creating lasting impact.

To strengthen this commitment, university leadership will prioritize the development of new partnerships while enhancing existing ones. This includes expanding opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage with external organizations, industry leaders, and community stakeholders. We will also invest in resources that support partnership development, such as coordinated outreach, training, and recognition programs.

Transparency and communication are key to sustaining these efforts. As such, the university will implement mechanisms to regularly share information about partnership activities, outcomes, and opportunities across divisions, departments, and units. By fostering a culture of collaboration and openness, we aim to ensure that partnership efforts are visible, valued, and aligned with our strategic priorities.
